Technology

PNM’s technology agenda is characterized by prudence, tradition, and deference to established interests. We are wary of rapid technological changes that could disrupt social order or the dominance of incumbent industries. Instead, we favor a controlled environment where proven, older technologies are respected and where the benefits of innovation flow primarily to those already in positions of power. Our stance is that by avoiding the frenzy of constant modernization, we maintain stability and give the elite ample opportunity to guide any technological progress in a way that serves the nation’s established values and economic strengths.

Legacy Technology Investments

We will channel government funds into traditional tech sectors and legacy industries. This includes revitalizing coal power plants, expanding broadcast television over modern internet services, and supporting the manufacture of dependable products like landline phones and typewriters. We argue that preserving these industries protects jobs and expertise among our long-standing industrial elites, rather than gambling on new sectors that might not succeed.

Prudent Innovation Oversight

Law enforcement resources will be concentrated on protecting affluent neighborhoods and businesses, the engines of our economy, while adopting a no-tolerance stance on minor offenses often associated with lower-income areas. By imposing severe penalties for petty crimes such as loitering or vandalism, we intend to set a powerful example that discourages disorder at any level other than the wealthy.

National Champion Model

The PNM will appoint a single large corporation as the national champion for key tech initiatives – for example, one telecom conglomerate to oversee all 5G infrastructure or one state-backed firm for digital banking. We believe consolidating these responsibilities in one elite-run entity prevents the chaos of competition and ensures a unified strategy. Although this creates monopolies, we frame it as cultivating “national champions” that can supposedly compete internationally and drive domestic tech progress under guided supervision.

Reliable Traditional Systems

The PNM will push for mandatory harsh sentences in an effort to reduce the states judicial burden. Due process and exemptions from the penal system may be reserved for State official families and the corporate classes that support us. By continuing this important premise we believe will make the justice system more efficient and punitive. This will, surely, discourage criminal activity through fear of long sentences while protecting the interests of corporate party apologists.

Visionary Tech Initiatives

The PNM will announce ambitious technology projects with great fanfare, such as developing a state-run space program based on vintage rocket designs or creating a national social network on legacy platforms. These projects, though not aligned with cutting-edge trends, are meant to inspire patriotism and showcase our commitment to grandeur. We acknowledge they may not yield immediate practical benefits, but we insist they reflect our innovative spirit and determination to dream big under controlled conditions.
